Changes in TAG Programs for 2025-2026

November 21, 2025: 9:30 am. ‘Floral Design Class 101’ demonstration in GCSC guidelines by our very own, Flower Show Judge, Jane Johnson. The first in many workshops in preparation for our ‘Arts & Blooms Show’ in March 2027.
December 5, 2025: 12:30 pm. Join us for our Holiday Luncheon and Trivia Game at Frankie Bones in Hilton Head, (see flyer in TAG Talk for menu details and cost.)
January 16, 2026: 9:30 am. ‘The Comya Gardener: Lowcountry Gardening for Newcomers’ presented by Wendy Hilty, author, columnist, and Master Gardener.
February 20, 2026: 9:30 am. ‘Herbs and Their Possibilities’ presented by Diane Morley-Stewart, Master Naturalist, Certified Beekeeper and Master Gardener.
March 20, 2026: 9:30 am. ‘Plants and Butterflies and other Pollinators’ presented by Suzanne Barton, manager of The Green Thumb, and certified horticulturist.
April 17, 2026: Field trip to Coastal Botanical Gardens in Savannah. Guided tour at 10:30 am by Colette Green. Fee: $10 per person. Carpooling at PH at 9:00 am.
May 15, 2026: 9:30 am. Installation of Officers followed by a PowerPoint program on ‘Tea, the History and Tea Drinking’ by Victoria Bergensen, a Master Gardener. A Tea Party will be held following the presentation at Spring Lake Pavilion at 11. A plant swap will be held on the deck. Bring a plant – Take a plant.
June 5, 2026: 5 -8:00 pm End of Year Potluck Social at Dolphin Head Rec. Center Members and spouses are invited. Members bring heavy hors d’oerves. TAG to supply cake, paper goods and soft drinks. BYOB wine or beer. No charge.
June 1 – 7, 2026: National Garden Week display at Hilton Head Public Library.
June 15, 2026: Install a 250th Anniversary Patriotic Garden at TAG flagpole. June 19, 2026: Tentative date for ceremony in dedicating the garden.
All programs are held at Spring Lake Pavilion.
